Pendulums help to link your conscious mind to your subconscious mind and Spirit. You can consult your pendulum for many different concerns. The answers may surprise you! However, more likely than not, the answers will not surprise you. The answers given by the pendulum are coming directly from your subconscious mind where your true thoughts and feelings are (sometimes) hidden. Make a Pendulum Now!Tie a ring to a piece of string. Allow the string to dangle from your hand, ring hovering over a table, and rest your elbow on the table. Ask an obvious "yes" question, a definite "no" question, and then a question with the answer of "maybe." Make a note of the motion of the pendulum after asking each question. Do not move your hand to get the answers you want or expect! In fact, do not move your hand, arm or fingers at all. The pendulum will move of its own accord. I've found that by saying "stop" between questions causes the pendulum to stop swinging all together. Questions for the PendulumIf you are asking your pendulum "yes/no" questions, here are some good ones:
Get creative with your questions. The answers to "yes/no" questions tend to lead you down a thought path. If you follow it, you will find some enlightening questions to ask. As you probably know, a good question is much better than a good answer! Remember that the pendulum's answers can be wrong. Part of a pendulum's "magic" is that it makes you think of suitable questions. Some would argue that the process of questioning yourself is the valuable part of pendulum use. Only through questioning will you arrive at an answer. Then you have to ask yourself, "Do I agree with this answer?" Charts for the PendulumCharts take the pendulum's focus off of "yes/no" questions. When you use a chart, you are limiting the pendulum's answers to a pre-defined set of answers developed by you (or someone else). Pendulum charts have drawbacks and benefits, and you will have to decide for yourself if they are helpful to you. Here are a few charts you could try. Print them out and lay them on the table, then see what answers your pendulum gives.
