Tea Infusion or Decoction?
Enhance your herbal tea experience by brewing your tea properly. Follow the brewing directions which will vary by the type of tea you've chosen.
Tea Infusions
Tea infusions are blends of LEAVES and the FLOWERS.
Brew infusions by using 1 tsp of tea to 1 cup of boiled water, pour the water over the herbs, and cover tightly. Steep for 5-15 minutes. Strain, and enjoy.
Tea Decoctions
Tea decoctions are blends of ROOTS and BARK.
Brew decoctions by using 3/4 tsp of tea to 1 cup water, cover tightly and simmer (do not boil) for 10-20 minutes. The longer you steep the tea, the stronger the taste becomes.
