Yellow Gates & Chakras

When you associate the color yellow with a chakra, you find its correlation in the solar plexus.

The solar plexus chakra reflects our feelings of personal power such as self-confidence, self-love, and self-acceptance. It is the energy center that regulates your physical metabolic rate and digestion.

This makes sense because your feelings of personal power are also metabolized in that those feelings must undergo changes, or stages, to maintain healthy life management skills.

No-Eyes, the wise woman of Mary Summer Rain's Earthway, gives a slightly different understanding of the yellow energy center. No-Eyes believed this energy center to be a connection between each individual and the whole of universal energy. She described it as being connected with the 'silver cord' or universal umbilical cord between you and The All that can never be severed.

I believe that to her, the yellow color energy reflects your ability to internalize and use the teachings of the universe. Like chakras, No-Eyes believed this adrenal area to be a connection between self and intuition. It holds the same process, but in a slightly different way.
