Curiosity Meditation

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."
Frank Morgan said this back in 1939. I don't know who Frank is, or what man or
curtain he was speaking of, but I sure wish I was there to see what the man
behind the curtain was doing!
What if somebody told you that there was a HUMUNGOUS secret and it was under
that rock - just to the left of you. What would you do? Would you look at the
person like they were nuts, or would you drop to your knees and flip over that
rock to see what secret was there?
I don't know about you, but I would have been on the ground before that person
got done telling me about the rock!
Some people (my husband) lovingly refer to me as being nosy. I don't think I am
nosy at all. I really enjoy knowing what is going on around me. I like to know
what other peoples' lives are like. What is going good for them, what is going
bad for them? Why did they choose to do the things that they did? I enjoy learning
all of that because it can so much let you into the soul of that person, and you
can learn from their actions.
It is time to be curious about the world around you!
To allow the Curiosity within you to come out and play, follow these steps:
- Find yourself a comfortable spot where you can be by yourself, uninterrupted.
- Breathe in through your nose, while expanding your belly (not your chest).
- When you feel you are ready, begin to repeat to yourself these words...
"With child like enthusiasm, I allow Curiosity to run wild in my life!"
