Forming Bluelady's Symbols

When we began thinking about the company we wanted to create, we knew that we wanted to adhere to and embody certain characteristics that would ensure Bluelady's success.

These characteristics became our key words.  We used them (and variations of them) in our conversations as often as possible to ingrain them into our psyches and hearts.

Being visually oriented women, we decided to express our key words as black and white symbols. We looked into different forms of symbology as we imagined how "Bluelady" would like to express herself and who she would like to become.  (Check out some of the same information from our Symbols Links page.)

Bluelady's key words were intended to merely keep us on the right track, but we have found that the symbols, the pictures of these words, have now powerfully and positively affected our attitudes, actions and beliefs.

We want to share the symbols with our clients and site visitors because seeing a word as a picture is one way to communicate directly with the visual, creative, spiritual mind.

Some of the symbols will be easily recognizable. For example, Bluelady's symbol for peace is the alchemist's symbol for smelling salts. It just seemed to fit, so we are using that one with no changes.

As you look at these symbols, you are sure to see similarities to other, more familiar symbols. We are not the 'originators' of these symbols, but we have tried to make them our own as much as possible.  It is an ongoing process.

The black and white images on this page have evolved into more colorful symbols which we use on almost every page of this site and for meditation purposes.  For example, the image at the top left of this page is our enhanced version of Beauty (at right).

Use these symbols as you wish to draw your mind out of hibernation and into the wonderful world of life creation!  Or better yet, make your own symbols to uniquely express what you would like to create in your world.
