Yoga - Cat Posture
The Cat, a yoga posture, relieves contained energy such as stress and anxiety. As you perform this or any other concentrated movement, focus on your bodily sensations and allow your other cares to evaporate for these few minutes so you can reap the greatest value from the motion.
Perform the Cat Posture
This is one set. Repeat it three times.
Start on all fours and inhale deeply. Focus on the quality of your movement, not speed.
Exhale as you round your back upward and tuck your chin to your chest.
Inhale as you reverse the motion. Push your spine toward the floor and look to the sky.
